Steal this button

OK, you asked for it.  There’s the button for you to use on your blog.  The image is hosted on Flickr, so it’s good to go.

Well, that didn’t last too long.  That button was voted off the island.

For the record, I know I have no artistic talent.  If I didn’t get up every day and put on an Army Combat Uniform (that hides dirt well, BTW), I’d be wearing Garanimals. With dark socks. And sandals.

Here’s the other one.

Mad props to Mrs. IBOL Guy, for recognizing the sight of a drowning man on the internet, and making these to save my bacon.  They are infinitely better looking than that turd I had made.

It’s probably best if you use this link with the button — it gives the intro to the site and explains what it’s all about.

The background?  Yes, that is my quilt.  Oh, no — I didn’t make it.  Most Awesome Wife made that for me years and years ago, and it’s been everywhere with me — literally.

If you need the source code, to put this onto your own website, it’s after the jump.

<a href=”https://ibol.wordpress.com/2009/08/03/iraqi-bundles-of-love-the-intro/”><img title=”Iraqi Bundles of Love” src=”http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3562/3820057356_f832963936.jpg&#8221; alt=”” width=”130″ height=”240″ /></a>

That’s the vertical one.

<a href=”http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2423/3820057044_af01f1f40c.jpg”><img title=”Iraqi Bundles of Love” src=”http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2423/3820057044_af01f1f40c.jpg&#8221; alt=”” width=”150″ height=”52″ /></a>

That’s the horizontal / tiny one.

The images are still hosted on Flickr, so just cut and paste that text in and you’re good to go.

Not that anyone else has said this, but to make this work on another blog (the wife’s free-standing WordPress blog), I had to paste in the code from above and then replace the apostrophe marks.

No idea why. But I had to.

  12. floribunda Says:

hmm — couldn’t get either of those buttons to work! they just don’t show up at all when I paste the code in. the apostrophe’s show up just fine when I cut & paste. Has anyone else had problems with this?

  13. Vicki Says:

Had to do a little fiddling with the code, but got it to work on Blogger. There will be a box of goodies on it’s way from Tennessee next week!
