For want of some 4×4″

Little new in the IBOL world.

Two units snuck in this week and pickled up bundles to deliver. One has two embedded bloggers that I know of, so I am hoping I can get reports back from the two of them when they do their hand overs / deliveries.

For the two big units that I’ve been trying to line up air movement, well, one backed out. The other is still game. I’ve got aircraft on stand by, pallets on which to load the bundles, nets to hold it all in place — I just need dunnage, or 4×4″ beams on which to rest the pallets next to the warehouse. I know — I am looking for lumber these days. The Army — it’s a strange beast.

So, no midnight covert IBOL deliveries this weekend, but maybe some midnight, covert 4×4″ acquisition operations instead.

Do you need to launch IBOW…Iraqi Bundles of Wood? I almost typed Iraqi Bundles of Weed…that might help, but it wouldn’t clear customs… : ) Thanks for the update!

If you want to increase the number of bundles, I am sure that there are many that would help!!

I know one thing for certain. If this effort falls apart right at the last, there will be some women kicking a** and taking names. Ya don’t mess with quilters and knitters ’cause we BAD!!

Hmmmmmmm. All those cardboard IBOL shipping boxes folded tight into strips + duck (duct?) tape.
    Would that make “dunnage”?

Any old railroad tracks handY? sounds like a job for railroad ties…each would make 4 fourbyfours…

Are you sure there aren’t some Generals or Senators we could call? There really are a LOT of us…and, as Linda says, we have INFLUENCE…
